Experience how fun family traditions can begin! We are open all year to accommodate "Four seasons of Fun" and recreational enjoyment. Fall, Winter and Spring during the off season brings a slower pace to the lake area. Enjoy all four seasons with premiere fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, kayaking, and 4 wheeling on special area trails.

South Manistique Lake is abundant with bass, northern pike, walleye, perch, pan fish and record muskie! Fisherman, be prepared to hide behind trees to keep those record size fish from jumping in your boat.

Fall colors typically begin in mid-September and continue until mid October peaking around October 1. Enjoy spectacular views both on and off the lake.

Hunting is a fall favorite with 1000s of acres of State, Federal and Corporate lands open to the avid hunter. The Curtis surrounding area abounds with deer, grouse, bear, moose, duck and geese.

Winter brings ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice skating and area dog sledding.

Curtis is conveniently located in the middle of the Upper Peninsula snowmobile trail system that connects 140 miles of locally groomed trails to 2,500 miles of trails throughout the entire Upper Peninsula.
